Typesetting and graphic design.
After finishing my fine arts degree, there wasn't a lot of work as a fine artist. I found myself a typesetting job, creating classified ads for a media agency in the city. Not very glamorous but it taught me some great skills that I've never forgotten. In between freelancing and then working as a graphic designer for the last four years, I've come to really enjoy layout work; designing manuals, brochures and promotional materials that fit the brief and are aesthetically pleasing.
