Story telling

One of the best bits about illustrating children's books is that I get to go into classrooms and not only read the story to the children but show them the actual illustrations. So they get to learn about the process of getting a drawing into a book! It's so wonderful seeing their faces light up for more than one reason!

I'm also available to visit older children in secondary school to speak to them about my experience as an illustrator and designer. I have a current working with children check, so feel free to contact me if you would like me to come and visit your school!
